Complex Business
Litigation
We handle complex civil matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts throughout the country. Our lawyers have experience in most types of commercial matters, including but not limited to cases involving
breach of contract, shareholder and investor rights, business torts, partnership disputes, defamation, trade secrets, trademark, employment discrimination, franchise disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and other significant commercial issues.
Labor and Employment Law
We have negotiated employment contracts and separation agreements on behalf of corporations, C-level executives, and employees, and our experience representing parties on both sides of the fence has helped us gain valuable insight into the process, particularly with regard to restrictive covenants and confidentiality provisions. We conduct sensitivity training and internal investigations, and have the requisite experience to litigate, arbitrate or mediate matters that cannot be resolved informally.
Contract
Negotiation
The firm has drafted and negotiated virtually countless contracts for individuals, corporations and partnerships. With its strong background in litigation, the firm is able to identify those situations where a lack of attention to drafting often results in disputes that can turn into losses or litigation.
