Nora von Stange

Of Counsel

 

Ms. von Stange has 20 years of litigation experience representing individual and corporate clients in state and federal trial level and appellate proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations in the areas of contract, intellectual property, products liability, employment and debtor/creditor. In addition to prior work in the litigation practice group at Morgan, Lewis and Bockius LLP for eight years, Ms. von Stange served a two year clerkship for the Hon. Arthur D. Spatt in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and a one-year clerkship for the Hon. Peter W. Hall in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

  • Defense of products liability actions for international manufacturing and major pharmaceutical firm;
     

  • Arbitration of post-closing balance sheet dispute following acquisition for international food and beverage corporation;
     

  • Insurance coverage and fraud disputes in state and federal courts concerning insurance-backed financing;
     

  • Accounting services contract dispute wherein liability was conceded and trial resulted in nominal damages award, affirmed on appeal;
     

  • Seizure and disposition of property securing defaulted loan from financing institution;
     

  • Investment and securities industry regulatory investigations.
